Josh Underwood was first inspired to DJ by hearing Paul Oakenfold and Kimball Collins. It all seemed to have fallen into place when he and his girlfriend decided to take a trip to Washington, D.C. There they stumbled aross the club "Nation" aka "Sting", which soon got its name changed to "Buzz". There he witnessed the amazing live performance of Cirrus. He then realized that the passion and meaning for that music was in his blood. He started DJing house parties in 1999. Josh and a few friends threw the largest party in Hampton Roads, Virginia with only three days of promoting in August of 2000, which had well over 1000 people on 753 acres, and an 8 bedroom semi-mansion. The party lasted from Friday to Sunday. It earned the deservable name the "Pharm House" party. Josh's party had people travel from as far north as Maryland and D.C. and from as far south as South Carolina. Josh continued throwing gigantic parties. He threw "Pharm II" in September of 2002 and "Pharm III" in July 2004. Gaining popularity in the scene's peak (2000-2001), he remained a sought after house party DJ for the next five years. Josh has received his first official Saturday night residency at a club in Norfolk, Va in 2006 called "Bugatti's". Josh Underwood continues to get massive at "Bugatti's" every Saturday night. The music selection is maintained fresh and uplifting until 6am every weekend. Thumping a resonance of attitude and flair, Josh Underwood has managed to raise the bar on style and performance. "Bugatti's", which is recognized as the Number 1 Dance Club and Premier After Hours Venue in Hampton Roads for the past 10 years, is proud to host his weekly residency. The capacity during his sets are beyond its limits as clubber's rush for a spot on the dance floor. UNBELIEVEABLE!!! For those of you lucky enough to attend his shows, thanks for the great vibes and good times. As Josh continues to build a strong reputation there, he is packing the club, as well as the dance floor to maximum capacity. Josh is also a headline DJ at "Premiere" Night Club. He has been a guest DJ at "Voodoo Rouge", which hosts the weekly event "PLUSH:", and played quite regularly at "Scotty Quixx". In 2004, Josh started focusing on the production and remixing aspect of reputable dance music. He has produced two complete tracks and remixed numerous other tracks since he began in mid 2004. Josh Underwood is going to continue to keep the dance floors packed and the crowd dancing by digging deep to find hot tracks that were and are unheard here in most parts of America. Josh's sets are legendary and widely talked about up and down the east coast. Josh always makes sure clubbers leave the dancefloors satisfied by means of his mixes.
