Bio
As a self-taught musician, my work is driven by inspiration and influence.

I first developed an interest in music when I was 10, focusing on percussion. I remember waiting in a long line at Disneyland and watching a trash can drumming trio perform in the streets, and from then on I wanted to be a musician. I was given a keyboard and an acoustic guitar for my 14th birthday, along with FL Studio.

Now armed with some resources, I composed my first song: a techno mix of the Exorcist theme. It was only about a minute long and sounded terrible in my opinion, but then what can one expect for their first material? I kept practicing and teaching myself music theory through trial and error, all the while listening to classic rock and techno for inspiration. I leaned heavily toward Queen and Van Halen for about a year, noting irregular chord progressions and frequent instrumental solos. Then I heard "Children" and "Piano in Trance" by Robert Miles, along with many hits from The Doors, and I like to say the doors of perception were opened for me. Something just clicked and I began writing more intricate compositions, trying something new with each song. I began listening to the works of Darude, Armin Van Buuren, and DJ Tiesto. I also got into Pink Floyd and really drew inspiration from their styles of improvisation. All of this sparked a great deal of interest in trance and a change in my style of writing (or at least I've perceived a change).

I've been focusing lately on trance and anything trippy, and I'm just seeing where further experience will take me. I'm hoping to get into live mixing sometime soon, and one day I want to play trance music in a band. My music is all instrumental for now--as I tend to focus more on the instruments than the vocals when listening to music, so naturally I'm better at writing instrumental arrangements than lyrics--but who knows? One day I may do some collaborations. Keep a lookout for my CDs, which I hope to sell soon.

Otherwise, party on.
