Bio
Discovered electronic music and my passion for it back in 1996 through Wipeout on the PSX... This led me to persuing further my new found interest, until in 1999 when I discovered the means to make the music... It started, like most things do as a hobby- just messing around with basic programs like total Ejay (first one was free with PC format mag!), but over time as I progressed and began to understand electronic music more, and with the understanding came upgrades to my music making tools, expanding and growing and changing to a more professional and most importantly a more audibly palatable sound! From total ejay 1 + 2 I then moved on to Dance Ejay 5 + later 6- at the time 6 came out I had also purchased Magix music Maker and soon after that was the only program I used and it was superb- made my 3rd album with it. After that I got two upgrades to magix music maker as it was so very good and made my 4thh album with a later version of Magix MM. But now I sought somthing more challanging and professional, the time had come to move on, so I purchased Acid pro and later Sony Sound Forge which took me a while to learn how to use, but when I learnt it was simply phenominal and there was no turning back to the old Magix ways now. Completed my 5th album using Acid and Sound forge. A while after that was done I purchased a copy of reason- which again took a good while to learn how to use but after I did I was very impressed with it- basically you need a midi keyboard for this program so I picked up one of those and soon after an edirol audio interface to give it that extra pro touch- 24 bit 96 khz etc- and thats were I am now- with my Midi Keyboard, Acid Pro, Reason, Sound Forge and so on so in 6 years I have progressed greatly in my veiw. Electronic Music for the past 6+ years has been a pretty much constant throughout my ups and downs, I've stuck at it and the experience has come together. In almost seven years electronic music making has evolved from a hobby into a much more complex and more beautiful thing allowing me to express many things about myself and life and create a great sound in the process... Unsigned at present so if you like what you here and your interested email me- TheResidentOne@yahoo.co.uk- also if you want to leave any comments/ criticisms feel free to do so.....
