We are extremely pleased to be able to announce our THIRD Remix Competition, brought to you by Waipa Music and The EDM Spectrum!!!


This contest will run for almost 2 months. Entries must be submitted by 12:00AM (midnight) Pacific Time, on June 30th, 2006. At the end, remixes will get visitor voting. Winners of the visitor voting will recieve a prize (still to be determined) from The EDM Spectrum, as well as get key placement of their links on our main page. And of course, the admiration and respect of The EDM Spectrum and its visitors!

Additionally, at the end of the contest 3 tracks will be chosen, by Waipa Music, to be placed on the forthcoming single and distributed worldwide. Winners will receive royalties, based upon sales. Visitor voting at The EDM Spectrum may influence the selection of the final top 3 winners.

The remix will be of the song "You I Adore", by Oh Yeah!.

Midi files are available upon request. Send requests directly to Waipa Music (contact info is enclosed in the remix package). Please keep in mind that Midi files are not available for all parts, as traditional instrumentation is also used.

Conditions of Entry

• Three winning entries will be placed on the forthcoming single release "You I Adore" by Oh Yeah!
• Winning entries will all receive royalties from sales of their mix should any sales occur.
• Digiland Music International Ltd may at their discretion produce an extended play release for EDM Spectrum with all contest entries on board.
• Each entry will be given an ISRC code.
• Each entry will be digitized into the Weed file format and made available for redistribution by remixer and their fans (It is legal to share Weed format files).
• The resulting remix may, at the discretion of the remixer, further distribute their mix without getting further permission from Digiland Music International Ltd providing there is no commercial gain from such a release. Should the release be for commercial gain (ie sale of any sort) a 5.56% royalty rate for the original sound recordings applies. In all cases, Digiland Music International Ltd would like a copy of all further releases for its release archive.
• The resulting remix may be used to showcase the remixers work and can be used in clubs, on the radio or on the Internet. Please keep us posted with how and when you use it.

Entry Rules

• The only rule of entry is the complete ban of the ‘F’ word anywhere in the mix or on the entry soundtrack.

TO ENTER:

1. Download (right-click and choose "Save As...") the remix materials HERE. (Be sure to READ the file "You I Adore contest details.doc" in the materials package for important details.)
2. Do your thing! Remix away! You may submit as many remixes as you like.
3. Submit your remix to The EDM Spectrum. Try using www.yousendit.com to submit, using our info@edmspectrum.com email address. Be sure to also enter your email address at yousendit.com, so that you can be notified of any problems sending the file to us. If this doesn't work for you, contact us to arrange another way of submitting (FTP, etc.).
   
   Be sure to include the following information with your submission: your real name, artist name, age, gender, town, state, country, software used, length of time to create, website, email address, and a short bio about yourself.
   
   If you do not receive a confirmation email from us of the receipt of your entry within 24 hours of submitting, please contact us again, via email or a message in Myspace. We are not responsible for entries that do not arrive to us.
