Our seventh remix competition, brought to you by Digiland Music International, Germanica and The EDM Spectrum, has ended. We had 7 excellent remixes of Germanica's track "If This Is Love".

The best 2 remixes, as voted by EDM Spectrum visitors, will be included on the release under release contract by the remixer with Digiland Music International. A third remix will be voted on by the label, with input from Germanica. Should the third mix be the same as one of the first two then the third best as voted by EDM Spectrum visitors will be included.

Due to the vote tampering that happened partway through the voting process, we implemented some new policies for winner-selection. First, security was tightened up significantly on the voting, and votes were reset. We did see some a few attempts to tamper with the vote after security was tightened, and every attempt was logged. We are nearly certain that none of the attempts succeeded. Second, we used a judges panel of 10 judges, and the judges votes counted for 1/2, and the visitor voting for the other 1/2. Judges chose their 1st and 2nd favorites. 1st picks counted as 2 points, and 2nd picks counted as 1 point. Points were totalled up then, and weighted so that the total judges votes equalled those of the visitor votes. The 2 were then added together to get the total points for each remixer. It was our hope that the judges panel would help to counter-balance any vote tampering that might still have gotten through after the security was tightened. Now, let's meet the judges:
