Announcement! Entry deadline extended to October 30th!

We are extremely pleased to be able to announce our EIGHTH Remix Competition, brought to you by Ransom Rath and The EDM Spectrum!!!

Entry Deadline: Extended to October 30th 2007, 11:59PM Pacific Time

Entries to the contest must submit one remix of Ransom Rath's "Love In The Water" (multiple entries per remixer are accepted).

At the end of the contest, visitors will vote on their favorite remixes. The first place winner will recieve a Ransom Rath official T-Shirt, signed by the band, a free electronic download of the album - "Interpret The Results" (plus bonus tracks), will be featured on the remix album - "Reinterpret The Results", and will potentially receive one aditional prize (to be confirmed before announcement). The second and third place runners-up will recieve a free electronic download of "Interpret The Results".

There is only one rule to this competition, and that is that the remix must retain at least 30% of the original arrangement. The remix competition will remain genre-open, so make it your own sound!

The remix kit consists of the following:

1. Download the remix materials by clicking the Download buttons below. If you have any problems downloading, email us at the email address listed at the bottom of every page on this site.

2. Do your thing! Remix away! You may submit as many remixes as you like.
   
   
3. Submit your remix to The EDM Spectrum using one of the following methods:
   
   
   • OPTION 1: You can email it to us at info@edmspectrum.com. We cannot guarantee that email address will have sufficient space to receive your file though. So if you choose this option and the email bounces back, you'll need to choose another option.
   • OPTION 2: Send the remix via www.yousendit.com, using our info@edmspectrum.com email address. Be sure to also enter your email address at yousendit.com, so that you can be notified of any problems sending the file to us.
   • OPTION 3: If neither of these options work for you, contact us to arrange another way of submitting (FTP, etc.).
   
   
   If you do not receive a confirmation email from us of the receipt of your entry within 24 hours of submitting, please contact us again, via email or a message in Myspace. We are not responsible for entries that do not arrive to us.
